  • Masco Cabinetry and the National Kitchen and Bath Association Announce Winners of “Blog Like A Pro” Competition

    April 25, 2012

    Masco Cabinetry, home of the KraftMaid®, Merillat®, QualityCabinets™ brands, as well as the DeNova® Countertop brand, and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) announce the winners of the “Blog Like a Pro” competition. The grand prize winner, Marianna Bowker, a student at Virginia Tech, will receive a $1,500 scholarship and the opportunity to blog on one of Masco Cabinetry’s brand websites. Lauren Koncerak of the University of Georgia and Kara Brennan of Virginia Tech received second- and third-place honors as well as scholarships of $700 and $500, respectively. The winners were recognized during the annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show this week in Chicago.

    Every spring, thousands of industry professionals gather at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), hosted by the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). In addition to offering an educational and valuable tradeshow experience, NKBA also creates opportunities for industry professionals to interact with design students and educators. This year Masco Cabinetry, home of the KraftMaid® Cabinetry, Merillat® Cabinets, QualityCabinets™ and DeNova® Countertop brands, is partnering with NKBA for the annual Educators’ Forum event. The company, which has a long-standing dedication to design students and continuing education for industry professionals, will debut a new education and training program, “From Design to Reality.”
